| According to a new report from LendingTree, more than 30 percent of U.S. businesses surveyed say they expect to raise prices in the next six months.
The price increases are a result of Trump’s sweeping tariff policy and the economic chaos they are causing. REMINDER: House Republicans voted to shield the administration from necessary oversight on tariffs earlier this year.
To make matters worse, as these tariffs make basic household items more expensive for the American people, House Republicans decided to double down on their inflation agenda to raise health care costs and utility bills when they voted for the Big, Ugly Law.
The American people are taking notice. As CNN’s Harry Enten said last week, noting that Democrats are now winning on confidence to curb inflation, “the bottom line is, the wrath that the voters feel for Donald Trump on inflation is transferring over to House Republicans.”
