REPORT: Rob Wittman’s Support for Iran War Has Cost Average Household $450 More on Gas and Energy

American families have shelled out $450 more per-household in energy expenses thanks to vulnerable Congressman Rob Wittman’s support for a war of choice in Iran.

According to Moody’s Analytics, Republicans’ reckless war has “cumulatively cost American consumers nearly $60 billion as gas prices and airline fares have surged” and, “if prices stay at current levels, the average household could take a hit of almost $2,000 at the one-year mark of the war.”

REMINDER: Wittman has voted to rubber-stamp the war in Iran, and now Virginians are facing skyrocketing prices at the pump as a direct result.

DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Career politician Rob Wittman lied to Virginians when he promised he would lower costs. Wittman is directly responsible for skyrocketing gas and energy prices that are hitting Virginia families in their wallets.”
