| As Alaskans wake up to the first day of the Republican shutdown, Nick Begich and House Republicans are doing nothing to address the harm they’re bringing to his state.
Millions of Americans are poised to get slapped with massive increases on their health care bills in the next few months, and poll after poll shows that voters want Congress to restore affordable health care and will hold Republicans responsible for their failed agenda.
But instead of serving the people they were elected to represent, Begich and Republicans have chosen to cancel all votes, shut the government down, and threaten Americans’ livelihoods in the process.
