REPUBLICANS DID THAT: Unpopular Republican Tax Day Messaging Drowned Out By Surging Prices At The Pump

While Donald Trump and his MAGA lackeys in Congress cut taxes for their billionaire buddies through the “Big, Ugly Bill,” everyday Americans are watching their hard-earned money disappear into their gas tanks. 

Despite the national gas average hitting record highs due to Trump’s reckless war of choice in Iran, the President spent Thursday casually brushing aside the crisis.

This comes as the Republican gas tax continues to drown out Republicans’ tax day messaging.

According to Bloomberg, polling suggests rising gas prices are top of mind for voters, “an ominous sign for the President and the GOP ahead of November’s midterms.”

DCCC Spokesperson Aidan Johnson:
“Sad press conferences and staged stunts can’t hide the fact that Trump and House Republicans have done absolutely nothing to lower costs. It’s a slap in the face to every American family who are seeing their savings get swallowed by rising gas prices and Republicans’ economic agenda.”
