Once again, the extreme MAGA Republicans in charge of Congress were unable to move forward with a debate over the poisoned Defense Appropriations bill – all because it wasn’t extreme enough.
As a reflection of the weak, do-nothing majority, safe Republican lawmakers themselves have begun diagnosing their failures out loud: “The Republican House is failing the American people again and pursuing a path of gamesmanship and circus.”

If this week is any indication of what comes next, our nation is headed toward a GOP-manufactured shutdown that will hurt American families and threaten our homeland security.
