Once again, Rob Bresnahan is cozying up to Washington insiders — this time, campaigning alongside out-of-touch extremist Steve Scalise.
Last month, Scalise, along with House Republican leadership, and 80% of House Republicans, introduced a budget that would balloon the deficit while cutting Social Security and Medicare and provide tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy at the expense of working class Pennsylvanians.
Rather than represent Northeastern Pennsylvanians in Congress, Bresnahan has made it clear that he will blindly follow his party bosses and the dark money donors propping up his campaign.
DCCC Spokesperson Aidan Johnson:
“Northeastern Pennsylvanians should be concerned that Rob Bresnahan is running around with a Washington insider who recently backed a budget that would cut Social Security, privatize Medicare, and raise the age of retirement, all in the name of another corporate tax cut for Rob and his billionaire backers.”
