Law firm led by Wittman endorser and campaign surrogate attempts to smear Shannon Taylor in a last ditch effort
After nearly 20 years in Washington, career politician Rob Wittman has shown he is willing to do and say anything to try and cling onto his seat.
Wittman’s latest desperate move? Campaigning on an 11th hour complaint against Shannon Taylor brought by a law firm that is led by a Republican former elected official who has endorsed and actively campaigned with Wittman this year.
WWBT reports:
“The law firm representing Emmons does have former state delegate Mark Earley listed as a partner. Earley lost his seat to Leslie Mehta last year. And before that Mehta took a run at Wittman for his job in Washington.”
Wittman has already been caught lying about Shannon in multiple local news fact checks. Now, he’s stooping to even new lows because he knows he is on track to lose in November.
