| Rob Wittman’s latest lie to Virginians? Falsely claiming that the war in Iran – which he has voted repeatedly to continue – doesn’t even exist.
Asked in an interview with 8News about whether he believes the war in Iran needs to end, Wittman falsely claimed that we aren’t at war at all.
WRIC ABC8 News Anchor: …folks at home are dealing with higher gas prices. You mentioned that as a result of the war in Iran. Where are you on that right now? Is it time for this war in Iran to end?
Rob Wittman: Well, right now we are not in a direct conflict.

This is now the second time in the past week that Wittman has lied to Virginians during a TV interview about the war in Iran being over.
How does Wittman explain the record high diesel prices and soaring costs at the gas pump to Virginia voters?
