Rob Wittman’s Constituents Are Starting to See Their Health Care Premiums Skyrocket for 2026

Virginia’s insurance marketplace is already showing price hikes for next year

Insurance companies are starting to reveal next year’s premium rates through Virginia’s insurance marketplace – and the price hikes are staggering because Republicans have failed to extend ACA tax credits.

In Lancaster, Virginia, a couple could see their premiums jump from $649 a month to $2,133 a month — a $1,484 monthly increase for the same plan, all because Congressman Rob Wittman refuses to act.

Reminder: Rather than negotiate to prevent Virginians’ health care costs from skyrocketing, Wittman chose to skip town instead. He even held a high dollar D.C. fundraiser just hours before the shutdown deadline.
