Today, the DCCC announced that Robert Zimmerman has been added to its competitive ‘Red to Blue’ program, signaling that national Democrats are invested in providing New York’s Third Congressional District and Zimmerman, a top-tier candidate, the organizational and fundraising support needed to continue developing a strong campaign and keep NY-03 blue.
As a small business owner with a long history of working on behalf of Long Island, Zimmerman has consistently been a leader in addressing the issues most important to voters, from fighting for the middle class, standing up against GOP attacks on women’s rights, and championing public safety.
His Republican opponent George Santos is an anti-choice extremist and insurrectionist who is too radical for this district. Despite Republicans targeting this Democratic seat, Zimmerman is ready to continue delivering real results for Long Islanders.
