Today marks the 51st anniversary of Roe v Wade, and anti-abortion extremists like Anna Paulina Luna are thrilled that Roe was overturned. The self-described “pro-life extremist” celebrated the Supreme Court overturning Roe v Wade.
Anna Paulina Luna’s eagerness to ban abortion is obvious in her record. Luna:
Voted to take away resources from active duty service members forced to travel out-of-state to get an abortion.
Voted for MAGA Speaker Mike Johnson, who wants to ban abortion nationwide without exceptions for rape, incest, or the life of a woman.
Just last week, Luna voted for twobills that chip away at women’s constitutional freedoms and attempt to deny them access to essential reproductive health care.
New polling recently found that abortion rights have historic levels of support with voters, including 66% of voters who oppose ongoing Republican efforts to pass a national abortion ban.
REMINDER: The Chair of the NRCC encouraged his vulnerable members – like Luna – to brag about their extreme anti-abortion positions on the campaign trail: “Republicans don’t have a policy problem. We have a branding problem.”
