Lobbyist Wants to “Eliminate” the Affordable Care Act

When asked about her position on the Affordable Care Act and if she is for eliminating it, Becchi the lobbyist, cheerfully says:
“I’d like to see it eliminated.”

REMINDER: We are in the midst of an unprecedented public health and economic crisis. The COVID-19 virus has claimed the lives of over 200,000 Americans and Becchi’s party is actively waging war on health care, fighting in court (right now) to rip coverage away from 27,000 residents of NJ-11 and gut protections for 315,300 people in the district with pre-existing conditions. If they’re successful, Washington Republicans and their lapdogs like Rosemary Becchi have no viable plan to replace our health care.
“Hundreds of thousands of New Jerseyans are counting on the Affordable Care Act for coverage during these challenging times, but Rosemary Becchi wants to rip the rug from under them,” said DCCC Spokesperson Christine Bennett. “We already know that Rosemary Becchi worked to raise taxes on New Jersey families while lowering taxes for her corporate clients, and now she’s trying to stick it to NJ families again by sending their health care costs through the roof. If Rosemary Becchi doesn’t understand how vital accessible, affordable health care is during a time like this, she should shutter her failing campaign and go back to her day job as a lobbyist.”
