| On the eve of Memorial Day weekend when millions of Americans will be traveling, the fake GOP ‘moderates’ joined MAGA leadership in canceling a vote on a War Powers Resolution to put a check on Donald Trump’s war of choice in the Middle East.
Republicans canceled the vote because House Democrats had the votes to successfully rebuke Trump’s war and start to bring gas prices down. A recent forecast from GasBuddy concludes that gas prices could hit $5/gal this summer if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed.
Since holding the House majority, Republicans have failed to make life more affordable for the American people. As a result, a recent Fox News poll found Trump’s approval on every major issue at all time lows – including with Republicans and rural voters. It begs the question: Why do the so-called GOP moderates continue to fall in line behind this wildly unpopular president and his price-spiking agenda?
