Congressman Tom Kean Jr. was elected to represent New Jersey, but it looks like he’s been doing the bidding of Donald Trump instead.
A new legislative scorecard released today shows that Kean Jr. has voted 100% in lockstep with Trump and his D.C. party bosses so far this Congress.
Kean Jr.’s rubberstamp record includes voting for his Big, Ugly Bill that rips away health care, puts rural hospitals at risk, and jacks up electricity bills all in order to fund more tax cuts for billionaires. Kean Jr. has also voted to rubberstamp sweeping, chaotic tariffs that are jacking up costs. DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“New Jersey families deserve an independent voice in Congress who will actually fight for working families. Instead, Congressman Tom Kean Jr. has been nothing more than a rubberstamp for Trump and his D.C. party bosses. They ask Kean Jr. to jump, and he asks ‘how high?’”
