Congresswoman Jen Kiggans was elected to represent Virginia, but it looks like she’s been doing the bidding of Donald Trump instead.
A new legislative scorecard released today shows that Kiggans has voted 100% in lockstep with Trump and her D.C. party bosses so far this Congress.
Kiggans’ capitulation to Trump is especially noteworthy in light of new CNU polling showing that Trump’s approval rating is deeply underwater in Virginia. Just 39% say they approve of his performance, compared to 58% who disapprove (-19).
Kiggans’ rubberstamp record includes voting for her Big, Ugly Bill that rips away health care, puts rural hospitals at risk, and jacks up electricity bills all in order to fund more tax cuts for billionaires. Kiggans has also voted to rubberstamp sweeping, chaotic tariffs that are jacking up costs.

“Virginia families deserve an independent voice in Congress who will actually fight for working families. Instead, Congresswoman Jen Kiggans has been nothing more than a rubberstamp for Trump and her D.C. party bosses. They ask Kiggans to jump, and she asks ‘how high?’”
