After bombshell reporting on anti-abortion extremist Yvette Herrell intentionally scrubbing all mentions of abortion and her anti-choice record from her campaign website, Herrell’s already-struggling campaign is spiraling out of control.
When asked by KOAT to respond to the blatantly calculated move, Herrell attempted to dodge responsibility, claiming “abortion policies are no longer a federal issue.” Her lackluster response came only after the network already aired a segment on her obvious deception.
Has Herrell been paying attention to anything at all? House Republicans are resolute in their quest to ban abortion nationwide. Look no further than the latest budget from the Republican Study Committee – that Herrell was a proud member of – which includes a call to pass the Life at Conception Act, a Herrell-supported nationwide abortion ban ban that has severe implications on access to IVF.
Not to mention that Herrell herself has supported multiple anti-abortion bills in both the New Mexico legislature and Congress, including national bans.
