Russell Prescott and Chris Bright Celebrate Anti-Abortion Extremist J.D. Vance As Trump’s VP

Russell Prescott and Chris Bright celebrated Donald Trump picking JD Vance as his Vice Presidential candidate. Prescott praised Vance for being an “excellent choice” while Bright called the GOP VP candidate “the perfect complement for the Republican ticket.”

Vance, whose agenda includes “eliminating abortion,” has a history of opposing women’s reproductive rights, including:

• Supporting a total abortion ban without exceptions for rape or incest.

• Arguing that “two wrongs don’t make a right” when asked whether abortion bans should allow exceptions for rape and incest.

• Campaigning against Ohio’s ballot initiative to protect reproductive rights, calling the measure’s passage “a gut punch.”

• Voting against codifying abortion rights, against restoring Roe v. Wade, and against protecting access to in vitro fertilization and contraception.
