This week, the U.S. Department of Commerce and BAE Systems Electronic Systems announced that the Granite State will receive approximately $35 million in federal incentives made possible by the CHIPS and Science Act.
However, if it were up to MAGA extremist Russell Prescott, the bipartisan bill that is bringing millions of dollars in investments and creating jobs in New Hampshire would have never happened.
On the campaign trail, Prescott derided the CHIPS and Science Act, declaring he “would definitely vote against” the critical legislation. But following the bill’s passage, the Biden-Harris Administration announced it would invest in the modernization of BAE Systems company’s Microelectronics Center in Nashua, New Hampshire. BAE Systems’ CEO credited the CHIPS Act as “increasing our capacity to serve national defense programs, growing our technical workforce, and helping to strengthen the nation’s onshore supply chain.”
DCCC Spokesperson Ellie Dougherty:
“MAGA extremist Russell Prescott derided legislation bringing millions of dollars in investment to New Hampshire. Voters deserve to know of Prescott’s astounding opposition to this job-creating bill.”
