Ryan Mackenzie Bends to Special Interests, Opposes Bump Stocks Ban

This week, Ryan Mackenzie voted against overwhelmingly popular legislation that would have banned bump stocks in Pennsylvania, despite the fact the leader of his own party supported efforts to outlaw these dangerous attachments.

Bump stocks effectively turn rifles into fully automatic weapons and were responsible for the worst mass shooting in the country’s history.

The far-right career politician has cozied up to dark money donors and special interest groups his entire career, and he’s taken it upon himself to be a rubber stamp for their dangerous agenda.

DCCC Spokesperson Aidan Johnson:
“Ryan Mackenzie is yet again putting special interests ahead of the safety of Pennsylvanians. With his vote this week to tank popular safety reforms, Mackenzie has proven that the only people he cares about protecting are the corporate donors backing his campaign.”
