| Lehigh Valley residents are frustrated with rising costs and concerned about affordability.
So what is Congressman Ryan Mackenzie doing about it? He’s pandering to his party bosses and gaslighting voters instead of working to actually lower prices. Just look at this embarrassing tweet:

Mackenzie claims he and Trump are celebrating “promises made, promises kept” one year after they were swept into office on a pledge to lower costs. But the numbers show Mackenzie has broken his promise and prices are only going up:
- A new study from the Joint Economic Committee shows Pennsylvania families are spending $1,734 more on average on everyday expenses such as housing, transportation, food, clothing, health care and utilities.
- Grocery prices are rising under Mackenzie’s leadership. According to the New York Times, “The price of beef has risen 16.4 percent over the last year. The price of coffee is up a whopping 19.8 percent. The price of lettuce is up 7.3 percent and frozen fish 8.6 percent.”
- Mackenzie has repeatedly voted to protect Trump’s cost-spiking tariffs that are making everything from groceries to housing more expensive.
With social media posts like this, you have to wonder: Is Mackenzie trying to get mocked on late night TV yet again?
DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Apparently it’s not embarrassing enough for Mackenzie to have to take his marching orders directly from his party bosses – he also feels the need to debase himself even further by sucking up to Trump on social media. Instead of kissing the ring, Mackenzie should stand up for the Lehigh Valley and do something to lower costs that continue to skyrocket under his watch.”
