Ryan Zinke voted today for extremist Jim Jordan for speaker in the chaotic, ongoing GOP leadership fight.
Zinke had every opportunity to embrace a bipartisan governing coalition, but chose to enable his far-right colleagues instead.
Thanks to Zinke, Speaker candidate Jim Jordan now has been given the greenlight to push an extreme, dangerous agenda that:
- Defunds federal law enforcement.
- Passes a nationwide abortion ban with no exceptions.
- Repeals investments that are creating good-paying jobs and reinvigorating American manufacturing.
It’s no surprise Zinke is standing with Jordan – he’s pushing the same agenda of restricting abortion access and threatening access to seniors’ hard-earned Social Security and Medicare.
