Today, Ryan Zinke and House Republicans passed twobills that chip away at women’s constitutional freedoms and attempt to deny them access to essential reproductive health care.
These measures would use federal funds to spread misinformation and prevent vulnerable communities from seeking essential health care. The first of these was even endorsed by the extreme, anti-choice National Right to Life Committee, an organization that advocated for a national abortion ban.
This is just the latest step in Zinke’s crusade to ban abortion nationwide. He has repeatedly supported measures to restrict abortion access nationwide after misleading voters on the campaign trail by saying reproductive freedom should be a “Montana decision.”
