This week, Ryan Zinke voted in favor of new nationwide restrictions on abortion and healthcare access for veterans and other VA beneficiaries.
During the markup of the Military, Construction, and Veterans Affairs Appropriation bill, Zinke joined his party to restrict VA hospitals from providing essential reproductive care and counseling for those who bravely served our nation.
After misleading voters on the campaign trail by saying reproductive freedom should be a “Montana decision,” Zinke’s vote is another example of his efforts toward the party’s ultimate goal of a national abortion ban.
DCCC Spokesperson Mallory Payne:
“Ryan Zinke is once again sabotaging must-pass funding bills in order to march our country towards his ultimate goal: banning abortion nationwide.”
