He Said WHAT? Skelos Apologist Jack Martins Needs a Dose of Reality

In a new ad, Albany insider Jack Martins makes the laughable claim that he ‘fights corruption.’

Who does Martins think he’s fooling?

When Republican Senate Leader Dean Skelos was indicted for corruption, Martins was one of the few who defended him and refused to call for Skelos to resign.

While presiding over the State Senate, Martins even refused to allow a motion to remove Skelos from power and was caught on an FBI wiretap with Skelos.

Martins was named “one of Skelos’s most vocal supporters.”

“Jack Martins can’t fool Long Island voters, he was one of the few Albany lawmakers who defended Dean Skelos and refused to call for Skelos to resign during his corruption trial,” said Bryan Lesswing at the DCCC. “If Martins’ record shows anything, it’s that he puts party loyalty – like defending Dean Skelos – ahead of doing what’s right.”
