Republican political operative admits that Salazar knows her advocacy is “going to go absolutely nowhere”
Recent reporting by RawStory pulls back the curtain on María Elvira Salazar’s thin veneer of fake advocacy.
After calling investments in diversity programs “wasteful,” Salazar has now signed on to a letter that even Republican political operatives say is “going to go absolutely nowhere.”
Salazar’s track record of doing the absolute least or just flat out refusing to stand up for her communities continues to follow her. She refused to call out Donald Trump for his attempts to rip TPS away from hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans in south Florida, Salazar was silent during calls to save affordable health care, and she continues her infamous pattern of taking credit for funding she voted against.

“Salazar’s blatantly cynical political maneuvers aren’t fooling any one, least of all the voters in Florida’s 27th Congressional District. Every day, they get more proof that she is not fighting for them – she’s fighting to please her D.C. party bosses while lying to her constituents. Next November, those same constituents are going to show her the door.”
