The Supreme Court has officially overturned Roe v. Wade, eliminating the constitutional right to abortion for millions of women and paving the way for Republicans to pass a nationwide ban on abortion. It’s a future that Sam Peters has long worked towards by supporting overturning Roe – and now he will have to own up to his extreme, misinformed positions.
Sam Peters has called abortion rights proponents “killers” and has pledged that if he gets to Congress, he will introduce extreme, far-right restrictions on abortions.
Make no mistake: Peters is completely out of step with Nevada voters on this issue, who voted to protect a woman’s right to an abortion by a two-to-one margin in 1990.
He will be held accountable for his party’s role in decimating women’s reproductive freedoms and their plan to institute a nationwide abortion ban – undoing the will of Nevada voters.
