“I invested inside of me,” Santos says when asked how he acquired hundreds of thousands of dollars for his campaign
In what’s become a clear portrait of today’s dysfunctional Republican caucus, alleged sex trafficker Matt Gaetz’s riveting interview with serial liar George Santos proved to voters that Santos actually has no intention of ever being honest.
When asked how he was able to afford contributing hundreds of thousands of dollars to his campaign (contributions that are facing multiple complaints with the Federal Election Commission due to potential illegality), Santos refused to say how or where he got that money.
How ridiculous do you have to be to make Matt Gaetz ask a follow up question?
REMINDER: Santos reported a $700,000 personal loan to his campaign in 2022 in violation of campaign finance rules. Yet, Santos previously disclosed a salary of $55,000 before reporting a salary of $750,000 just a year later from his suspicious Devolder Organization.
The question still remains how Santos received this much money.

“Santos is a fraud who’s on borrowed time in Congress. No matter how much he continues to lie and distract, the truth of his corruption will continue to come out.”
