| Despite electricity prices rising twice as fast as inflation this year, David Schweikert, Eli Crane, and Juan Ciscomani voted to raise energy bills on hardworking Americans today.
House Republicans pushed through an extreme funding bill that slashes $1.4 million from Arizona for programs designed to lower utility bills for American families.
The program most hurt by Schweikert, Crane, Ciscomani and Republicans’ spending bill is the Weatherization Assistance Program, which reduces energy costs for families through energy efficiency.
REMINDER: Under Schweikert, Crane, and Ciscomani’s Big, Ugly Law alone, Arizonans would see a spike of $222 in annual energy bills.
