The National Rifle Association (NRA) recently released its annual endorsements and gave one of their favorite candidates – Scott Baugh – top marks. Alongside a resounding endorsement, the NRA gave Scott Baugh an “A” rating for his loyalty to the gun lobby. According to the NRA Baugh is a “solidly pro-gun candidate.” A candidate who has supported NRA positions on “key votes in elective office,” Baugh has a long history of supporting dangerous gun policies. He and other members of his party voted “no” on half a dozen gun safety bills.
Just this summer, Orange County was rocked by a church shooting in Laguna Woods. Yet instead of pursuing meaningful reforms to protect Orange County families devastated by gun violence, Baugh chooses to put gun lobbyists ahead of Californians once again.

“Scott Baugh’s repeated refusal to support common sense gun violence prevention measures is dangerous and well-documented. Baugh has proven he will not hesitate to put gun lobbyists ahead of Orange County families.”
