Rather than rescind his support of Donald Trump after he was convicted on 34 felony counts, criminally-indicted Scott Baugh is instead – unsurprisingly – undermining the rule of law and rallying to the former president’s defense.
Given that violating the law to support your own election and facing felony indictments are nothing new to Baugh, his blind loyalty to the first former U.S. President ever convicted of a felony is no surprise. Unfortunately for Baugh, his choice to abandon Californians to defend Trump, despite being wildly out of step with California’s 47th District, will cost him in November.
