Shortly before voting a third time for an election denier for speaker, Scott Perry was caught on camera downplaying the death threats some of his colleagues have received after they voted against Jim Jordan.
In the audio, Perry can be heard saying the claims of his colleagues are “another red herring” and that “all of us in Congress receive death threats. I don’t know if that’s a newsflash for anybody here.”
REMINDER: After the deadly attack on the nation’s Capitol, Perry also downplayed the events of January 6 and the death of police officers. He has continued to falsely claim no insurrectionist was armed and even opposed a vote to honor the law enforcement who gave their life to protect his own.

Clearly, Perry is too busy fighting with members of his own party to fight for the real issues voters sent him there to solve.”
