Scott Perry Has Failed to Lower Costs: Pennsylvania Families Are Paying $1,700+ More Due to Inflation

According to a new study from the Joint Economic Committee released today, Pennsylvania families are spending $1,734 more on average on everyday expenses such as housing, transportation, food, clothing, health care and utilities.

Perry and Congressional Republicans swept into Washington last year with a promise to deliver on their campaign promise to lower costs for Americans – but have done the exact opposite. 

• Perry has repeatedly voted to protect Trump’s cost-spiking tariffs that are making everything from groceries to housing more expensive.
• Perry voted to pass Republicans’ so-called Big Beautiful Bill, which is ripping health care and food assistance away from hardworking Americans to fund massive tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy.
• Perry and Republicans let ACA tax credits lapse, causing Pennie premiums to skyrocket. Perry even said it would be a “colossal mistake” to lower Pennie costs.

The DCCC will hold Perry accountable for jacking up costs for Pennsylvanians.
