| As Central Pennsylvanians continue to see prices rise across the board, their Congressman Scott Perry is offering some tone-deaf advice: “be patient.”
That’s right: After voting to jack up their prices, Perry’s message to his constituents paying record high diesel prices, or those losing their health insurance because of sky-high health care premiums, is to just… hang in there!
With reckless tariffs and the war in Iran raising costs, PennLive reports that “the [economic] issues Perry was referencing have shown no signs of going away — in fact they are accelerating.”
And while “Congress has had multiple opportunities to vote to constrain Trump’s war powers regarding Iran and to exercise oversight of his tariff powers; Perry is not one of the Republicans who has crossed the aisle to support such legislation.”

“Scott Perry campaigned on a promise to lower costs, and is now gaslighting hardworking Pennsylvanians after failing to follow through. After spending 30 years in politics, it’s clear Perry has completely lost touch with reality.”
