| Congressman Scott Perry is once again making national news for all the wrong reasons.
Perry has made headlines in recent days for saying that it would be a “colossal mistake” to prevent Pennsylvanians’ health care premiums from skyrocketing, and for disparaging the service of Democratic veterans and servicemembers by stating they only serve to “get the credential.”
Tonight, Perry will have to address his latest out-of-touch remarks during his tele-town hall at 6:00pm ET. (But remember: It has already “been more than 2,000 days since Perry faced his constituents at an in-person town hall setting” – nearly 6 full years).
So here are just two questions Perry should be asked this evening:
- You said it would be a “colossal mistake” to extend critical ACA tax credits and prevent health care premiums from skyrocketing. Congressman Perry, why do you support jacking up health care costs for Pennsylvanians?
- You disparaged the service of Democratic veterans and servicemembers, saying that they only serve our country in order to “get the credential” and that they “don’t support America.” Congressman Perry, will you apologize for insulting veterans simply because they don’t share your political views?
Central Pennsylvanians will be listening. |
