Scott Perry Urges Republicans to Vote Against Border Security in Order to Have Something to “Run On”

After spending months threatening a government shutdown over border security, far-right extremist Scott Perry is once again under fire for his never-ending hypocrisy.

On Friday, Perry told fellow Republicans to vote against the government funding package, which would provide increased support for border security, including “22,000 border agents,” because it would give Democrats something to “run on.”

As a reminder, Scott Perry and House Republicans killed the bipartisan border security plan at Donald Trump’s request.

DCCC Spokesperson Aidan Johnson:
“Scott Perry said the quiet part out loud: House Republicans have never been serious about fixing the nation’s broken immigration system. Pennsylvania voters are tired of Perry’s hypocrisy, and they will make it clear when they vote him out this November.”
