Scott Perry’s Backwards Priorities: Acquiring Greenland is Good, Lowering Health Care Costs is Bad

Scott Perry claims to be ‘America First’ – but these days he seems more interested in spending money on Argentina and Greenland than Central PA.

In a social media video, Perry claimed that “Greenland is strategically very, very important” and said “I support America’s involvement” in taking over the country.

Perry’s interest in spending resources on acquiring Greenland comes after he also backed the $40 billion bailout of Argentina, saying on his most recent telephone town hall: “I approve of the loan to Argentina.”
But when it came time to help the hardworking people of Central Pennsylvania who are struggling with rising costs? Perry said it would be a “colossal mistake” to extend the Affordable Care Act (ACA) tax credits and lower skyrocketing health care costs.
DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Congressman Scott Perry claims to be ‘America First’ but would rather spend taxpayer dollars on Greenland and Argentina than on lowering costs here at home. It seems like Perry’s new motto has become ‘Central PA last.’ Sad!”
