| SHOT: Last week, extremist Jennifer Balkcom claimed in a candidate forum that she’s “bipartisan.”
CHASER: Balkcom voted with Republicans 99.75% of the time as a State Assemblywoman.
LET’S MAKE IT A DOUBLE: Just days before, Balkcom was seen bragging about being “one of the most conservative voters” in the North Carolina State Legislature.
Balkcom’s partisan loyalty comes as no surprise as she’s spent her time in office pushing her party’s agenda: from repeatedly voting against Medicaid expansion, to selling out North Carolinians for special interest money in Raleigh, to fully embracing her party bosses in Washington.
DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
“Jennifer Balkcom has barely been in the race for a month and she’s already lying. Balkcom is the furthest thing from bipartisan – she’s already shown voters that she is incapable of being an independent voice in the State Legislature, she certainly hasn’t earned a promotion to Congress. Western North Carolina families have been forced to accept one unethical liar after another – they deserve better.”
