CHASER: Adkins “managed Brownback’s 2004 campaign for U.S. Senate,” “was Kansas Republican Party chairwoman when Brownback was elected governor in 2010,” and “after [Brownback] became governor he appointed Adkins to chair the Kansas Children’s Cabinet and Trust Fund.”
“Amanda Adkins’ role in helping execute Brownback’s agenda while he was Governor — including his disastrous tax experiment that gutted funding for Kansas’ education and foster care systems — is a weight on her candidacy, and her latest attempt to run from her past proves how desperate she is to hide her record from Kansans,” said DCCC Spokesperson Brooke Goren.
