Vulnerable Congressman David Valadao has made many promises to the Central Valley about returning regular order to Congress and completing the very basic part of his job: passing a budget. But tomorrow, Friday, April 15th, marks the deadline for House Republicans – who are in control of Congress – to author and pass a budget and it’s clear they will miss this critical deadline by a longshot.
SHOT:
Valadao: “As a Member of Congress, I believe it is the core duty of the House and Senate to pass a budget ensuring the federal government can continue operating… If Congress is unable to reach across party lines and compromise on a responsible budget, I don’t believe Members should receive a salary during that time.”

“Vulnerable Congressman David Valadao continues to fail the Central Valley, this time by blowing the budget deadline despite calling it is his ‘core duty.’ It’s time Central Valley families get the responsible representation they deserve,” said Barb Solish of the DCCC.
