| After a full year of Rep. Rob Bresnahan representing Northeastern Pennsylvania in Congress, prices are rising across the board.
According to a new study from the Joint Economic Committee released today, Pennsylvania families are spending $1,734 more on average on everyday expenses such as housing, transportation, food, clothing, health care and utilities.
Bresnahan and Congressional Republicans swept into Washington last year with a promise to deliver on their campaign promise to lower costs for Americans – but have done the exact opposite.
The DCCC will hold Bresnahan accountable for jacking up costs for Northeastern Pennsylvanians.
DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Congressman Rob Bresnahan campaigned on a promise to lower costs but the receipts show he’s only made things more expensive. It’s yet another broken promise from Bresnahan, who has also violated his pledge to ban congressional stock trading and his pledge not to gut Medicaid. He has fully broken the trust of Northeastern Pennsylvanians.” |
