Since Ryan Mackenzie Came to Congress, Pennsylvania Families Are Paying $1,700+ More Due to Inflation

Mackenzie has failed to deliver on his promise to lower costs

After a full year of Rep. Ryan Mackenzie representing the Lehigh Valley in Congress, prices are rising across the board.

According to a new study from the Joint Economic Committee released today, Pennsylvania families are spending $1,734 more on average on everyday expenses such as housing, transportation, food, clothing, health care and utilities.

Mackenzie and Congressional Republicans swept into Washington last year with a promise to deliver on their campaign promise to lower costs for Americans – but have done the exact opposite.

The DCCC will hold Mackenzie accountable for jacking up costs for Pennsylvanians.

DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Congressman Ryan Mackenzie campaigned on a promise to lower costs, but the receipts show he’s only made things more expensive. His cost-spiking record will define his time in Washington and be a major reason why he loses in November.”
