Six Months Later, Central Pennsylvania Families Are Suffering From the Scott Perry-backed Iran War

Gas prices are above $4 per gallon and Perry continues to fund a reckless war of choice

Today marks six months since the start of the Scott Perry-backed war in Iran that has no end in sight, and is forcing Central Pennsylvania families to pay record August gas prices at the pump. No wonder public support for the war just hit a new low this week.

Perry promised lower costs on day one and no more new wars. Yet he has voted repeatedly to support funding for this war of choice that has caused gas prices to spike.

Just this week, Perry continued to triple-down on his support for the war in Iran when he was asked if he was concerned about the conflict.

DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
Scott Perry campaigned on a promise to lower costs and invest here at home, but instead he is shipping Central Pennsylvanians’ tax dollars overseas on a war in Iran that has made everything more expensive. Perry’s broken promises are going to cost him his job in November.”
