Today marks six months since Donald Trump dragged the country into a war against Iran that has no end in sight, and is forcing Americans to pay record August gas prices at the pump. No wonder public support for the war just hit a new low this week.
REMINDER: On the day he started the war, Trump declared it was “already a success.” Then a few weeks later in April, he proclaimed the war was a “Total and complete victory. 100%.” Six months later, all Coloradans have seen is a string of broken promises.
It’s not just Trump who’s broken his promise to the American people, so has Jeff Hurd, Lauren Boebert, Jeff Crank, and Gabe Evans.
House Republicans also promised lower costs on day one and no more new wars. Yet Hurd, Boebert, Crank, and Evans voted to support funding for Trump’s yet-to-end war in the Middle East that has caused gas prices to spike.
DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Coloradans oppose the war, are pissed about higher gas prices, and are ready to reject Jeff Hurd, Lauren Boebert, Jeff Crank, and Gabe Evans in November because of their vote to fund the war. Hurd, Boebert, Crank, and Evans’ broken promises are going to cost them their jobs.”
