| Today marks six months since Donald Trump dragged the country into a war against Iran that has no end in sight, and is forcing Americans to pay record August gas prices at the pump. No wonder public support for the war just hit a new low this week.
REMINDER: On the day he started the war, Trump declared it was “already a success.” Then a few weeks later in April, he proclaimed the war was a “Total and complete victory. 100%.” Six months later, all Floridians have seen is a string of broken promises.
It’s not just Trump who’s broken his promise to the American people, so has Dan Green.
Dan Green also promised lower fuel costs, yet he continues to support funding for Trump’s yet-to-end war in the Middle East that has caused gas prices to spike and taken the life of at least one young man from Florida.
DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
“Floridians are losing their lives and struggling to make ends meet while Dan Green continues to support Republicans’ disastrous war-of-choice in Iran. Tired of the string of broken promises and higher costs, voters are going to reject Green this November and send Darren Soto back to Congress to fight for them.” |
