Six Months Later, New Jersey Families Are Suffering From the Tom Kean Jr.-backed Iran War

Gas prices are above $4 per gallon and Kean Jr. continues to fund a reckless war of choice
Today marks six months since the start of the Tom Kean Jr.-backed war in Iran that has no end in sight, and is forcing New Jersey families to pay record August gas prices at the pump. No wonder public support for the war just hit a new low this week.

House Republicans promised lower costs on day one and no more new wars. Yet Kean Jr. has voted to support funding for this war of choice that has caused gas prices to spike.

DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Tom Kean Jr. campaigned on a promise to lower costs and invest here at home, but instead he is shipping New Jerseyans’ tax dollars overseas on a war in Iran that has made everything more expensive. Kean Jr.’s broken promises are going to cost him his job in November.”
