Six Months Later, New Mexicans are Suffering from the Greg Cunningham-Backed Iran War

New Mexicans’ gas prices are more than $4 per gallon and Cunningham  continues to support Trump’s reckless war of choice

Today marks six months since Donald Trump dragged the country into a war against Iran that has no end in sight, and is forcing Americans to pay record August gas prices at the pump – and many New Mexicans even higher than that. It’s no wonder public support for the war just hit a new low this week.

REMINDER: On the day the war started, Trump declared it was “already a success.” Then a few weeks later in April, he called it a “Total and complete victory. 100%.” Six months later, all New Mexicans have seen is a string of broken promises.

Greg Cunningham has stood with the president every step of the way, backing the reckless war-of-choice in Iran, admitting “yes, I do support it” and implied New Mexicans struggling with rising costs should just “hang on.”

He has also been SILENT on the deplorable conditions and 9 month return of the sailors aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln.

DCCC Spokesperson Anna Elsasser:
“New Mexicans oppose the war AND are pissed about higher gas prices. Meanwhile, MAGA Greg Cunningham is stumping with those responsible, wants people to ‘just hang on,’ and would rather give Donald Trump a blank check. Voters across NM-02 demand and deserve an end to this war and a representative serious about making that happen. That continues to be Gabe Vasquez.”
