Six Months Later, New Yorkers are Suffering from LaLota-backed Iran War

New Yorkers’ gas prices are above $4.15 per gallon and Nick LaLota continues to fund Trump’s reckless war of choice

Today marks six months since Donald Trump dragged the country into a war against Iran that has no end in sight, and is forcing Americans to pay record August gas prices at the pump. No wonder public support for the war just hit a new low this week.

REMINDER: On the day he started the war, Trump declared it was “already a success.” Then a few weeks later in April, he proclaimed the war was a “Total and complete victory. 100%.” Six months later, all New Yorkers have seen is a string of broken promises.

It’s not just Trump who’s broken his promise to the American people, so has Nick LaLota.

House Republicans also promised lower costs on day one and no more new wars. Yet LaLota has voted five separate times to continue the war, and voted to support funding for it, making Ohioans pay the price as their gas prices skyrocket.

DCCC Spokesperson Riya Vashi:
New Yorkers oppose the war, are pissed about higher gas prices, and are ready to reject Nick LaLota in November because of his vote to fund the war. LaLota’s broken promises are going to cost him his job.”
