Six Months Later, Virginia Families Are Suffering From the Rob Wittman-backed Iran War

Gas prices are above $4 per gallon and Wittman continues to fund a reckless war of choice

Today marks six months since the start of the Rob Wittman-backed war in Iran that has no end in sight, and is forcing Virginia families to pay record August gas prices at the pump. No wonder public support for the war just hit a new low this week.

House Republicans promised lower costs on day one and no more new wars. Yet Wittman has voted to support funding for this war of choice that has caused gas prices to spike.

DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
Rob Wittman campaigned on a promise to lower costs and invest here at home, but instead he is shipping Virginians’ tax dollars overseas on a war in Iran that has made everything more expensive. Wittman’s broken promises are going to cost him his job in November.”
