| Today marks six months since Donald Trump dragged the country into a war against Iran that has no end in sight, and is forcing Iowans to pay record August gas prices at the pump.
GET THE FACTS:
REMINDER: On the day he started the war, Trump declared it was “already a success.” Then a few weeks later in April, he proclaimed the war was a “Total and complete victory. 100%.” Six months later, all Iowans have seen is a string of broken promises.
DCCC Spokesperson Katie Smith:
“Zach Nunn is partying with Pete Hegseth, sending billions of dollars overseas to fund a war that killed multiple Iowa service members, and telling Iowans he doesn’t give a crap about the consequences or the fact that they’re stuck with the bill. Iowans literally can’t afford Zach Nunn and they’ll fire him this November.” |
