This weekend, four-time indicted, presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump saluted convicted January 6 insurrectionists and declared there would be a “bloodbath” if he lost the election.
The so-called moderate House Republicans – many of whom have already bent the knee in support of Trump – have stayed silent in the wake of this hateful speech.
Every single vulnerable House Republican owes voters an answer about whether or not they endorse Trump’s dangerous, violent rhetoric.
DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
“Vulnerable House Republicans didn’t stand up to Trump after January 6th, and they won’t stand up to him now. There is absolutely no place for political violence in our democracy. Voters will reject MAGA extremism and House Republicans’ dangerous majority in November.”
